The Tall Ships Race 2025 | Aberdeen

Aberdeen is preparing to welcome he internationally renowned Tall Ships Races this summer, with over 30 majestic ships sailing into the Granite city from the 19th to 22nd of July.

This free, family-friendly maritime celebration is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors across the four days of festivities. With large crows anticipated, Traffic Scotland is advising road users to plan ahead and expect increased traffic in and around Aberdeen with roads including the A90, A96 and the AWPR (Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route). Key city centre routes to be affected include Market Street and Guild Street.   

Parking in the city is expected to be limited, and event organisers are encouraging attendees to consider public travel options. 

First Bus Aberdeen will giving away 25,000 FREE Adult day tickets to help visitors get around the city during the event. You can find more information HERE
