A96 West Road Elgin | Footway Improvements
Amey is undertaking footway improvement works on the A96 West Road towards Elgin between Monday 21st April and Friday 16th May.
The essential maintenance, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will involve resurfacing of the footway to provide improved accessibility for pedestrians on the approach to Elgin.
This is phase two of works to resurface the footway, with initial work completed in October last year.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under daytime temporary traffic lights between 9.30am and 3.30pm on weekdays.
Work will take place on the A96 West Road from approximately 350 metres west of Morrison Road to Riverside Kitchens.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
