A96 Between Blackburn and Kintore
26th of October 2026, 7:30pm to 22nd of December 2026, 6:30am
A96 Blackburn to Kintore

Amey is carrying out overnight drainage improvements on the A96 between Blackburn and Kintore from Monday 26th October to Tuesday 22nd December.

The £400,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will improve drainage and safety on the A96 between Clinterty Roundabout and Broomhill Roundabout.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential works will be carried out under weekday alternating lane restrictions between 7.30pm and 6.30am.

The works will improve overall safety and reduce surface water on the carriageway for more than 23,000 motorists who use this route each day.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
