The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for rain for parts of the north of Scotland (Tuesday 31st December 2024). A combination of rain, strong winds and snow are featuring in the UK forecast for the New Year transition period. There are also yellow weather warnings issued for snow, wind and rain for other parts of Scotland this week.
