A90 South of Fraserburgh | Resurfacing
Amey is undertaking resurfacing works on the A90 south of Fraserburgh, on an approximately 502 metre length of the A90 carriageway from north of the Gash Junction to the Gowanhill junction, from Tuesday 6th to Wednesday 14th May.
The £236,997 scheme will include works that will improve surface for a smoother ride and reduce the need for ongoing maintenance, benefitting over 7,000 daily road users.
Works will take place each night from 7.30pm to 6.30am as follows –
Overnight closures of the A90 between Tuesday 6th and Friday 9th May, with traffic management removed by 6.30am on Saturday 10th May.
Overnight convoy working between Saturday 10th and Tuesday 13th May, with traffic management removed by 6.30am on Wednesday 14th May.
For diversion, northbound traffic will leave the A90 at B9032 for New Aberdour and following to Memsie, before turning right onto the A981 and following to Fraserburgh. Southbound traffic will follow the route in reverse.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
