A86 WEST OF LAGGAN DAM | SURFACING IMPROVEMENTS
Road users travelling along the A86 West of Laggan Dam will soon benefit from road improvements with resurfacing works set to be carried out by BEAR Scotland on behalf of Transport Scotland.
Resurfacing works will take place from Monday 7 through to Tuesday 22 July between the hours of 7am to 7pm. No works will be carried out on Saturdays or Sundays.
For the safety of workers and road users, daytime lane closures will be in place with a convoy system set up to manage traffic through the area.
Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “This resurfacing project will fix existing defects and significantly improve the driving experience for road users.
“Our team is committed to executing these works quickly and safely. We extend our gratitude to the local community and road users for their patience while we complete this necessary work.
“To minimise delays, we recommend that road users plan their journeys in advance by consulting the Traffic Scotland website for real-time travel updates.”
