North of Killmahog, near Callander
15th of September 2025, 8:00am to 20th of October 2025, 8:00am

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be undertaking masonry repairs to a retaining wall on the A84 , north of Killmahog, near Callander.

These works are required due to the partial collapse of the retaining wall that supports the A84, earlier this year. Temporary traffic lights have been in place since to ensure the safety of the travelling public.

Masonry repair works will start on Monday 15 September and will take approximately five weeks to complete. The existing temporary traffic lights and lane closure will remain in place for the duration of the works. Once the repairs are complete the road will be fully reopened.

Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “We are aware that the temporary traffic lights on the A84 north of Kilmahog have caused delays to road users however they are necessary to keep all road users safe and allow the necessary repairs to be carried out.

“Our teams will carry out these works as quickly as possible, with safety as our top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the repairs."
