A84 Doctors Corner (Strathyre and Callander) | Drainage Improvements

23rd of June 2025, 12:00am to 18th of July 2025, 11:59pm

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are to undertake drainage improvement works on the A84 at Doctors Corner, between Strathyre and Callander. The works will take place over four weeks from Monday 23 June to Friday 18 July.

To enable these improvements and protect road users and workers, the A84 will be subject to single lane closures with temporary traffic lights and a 30mph speed restriction in place for the duration of the works.

BEAR Scotland has been in contact with relevant stakeholders to inform them of the project and to share information about the traffic management arrangements that will be in place.

Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said, “We understand that road works can be frustrating for road users, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by these essential drainage improvements on the A84. We’ll be working hard to complete the project as quickly and safely as possible. Please plan your journey in advance, especially if you are travelling between Strathyre and Callander.”
