A8 East Hamilton Street | Drainage Improvements

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential drainage improvements on the A8 East Hamilton Street in Greenock, between Sinclair Street and Pottery Street, from Monday 10th March for approximately 3 weeks on a 24-hour basis. This work will be completed under a continuous single lane closure on the westbound carriageway.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the drainage on the carriageway and reducing the risk of future flooding in this location.
