Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential woodland management on the A77 between Spittalhill and Bellfield Interchange from Monday 17th March until Wednesday 19th March 2025 between 8pm and 6am each night.

This work will involve two overnight closures of the northbound carriageway, and a signed diversion will be in place as follows: Traffic will exit the A77 northbound carriageway at Dutchhouse to join the A78 northbound and continue to Warrix. They will then be directed to follow the A71 eastbound to Bellfield, where they will be able to re-join the A77 northbound.

Unfortunately, some noise disturbance may occur during these works. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused however mitigation measures are being implemented to minimise the effect.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety of the carriageway for road users.
