A76 South of Crossroads | Essential Bridge Deck Repairs

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential bridge deck repairs on the A76, south of Crossroads, from Wednesday 18th March until Friday 20th March 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night. 

This work will require overnight closures of the carriageway in this location. Southbound traffic will be diverted via the B744, A719 Brewland Street, A719 southbound and Crosshands Roundabout. Northbound traffic will take the above diversion route in reverse. 

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works. 

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
 
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structures in this location.
