A75,West of Bridge of Dee | Essential Resurfacing
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the A75, west of Bridge of Dee, from Sunday 7th September until Tuesday 16th September 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 6am.
This work will require overnight convoys for the duration of this work, as well as overnight closures of the A711 junction for Kirkcudbright. Traffic will be diverted via the A762 at Tongland to join the A75 at Valleyfield, this diversion is expected to take around 6 minutes. Delays of no more than 4 minutes are expected during the convoy operations.
Traffic management will be removed by 6am on Friday 12th September. There will then be Temporary Traffic Lights in place between 8pm on Monday 15th September and 6am on Tuesday 16th September to complete the works.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this area.
