A737 Northbound at Linclive | Resurfacing Works

20th of May 2025, 8:00pm to 25th of May 2025, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential overnight resurfacing on the A737 at the northbound Linclive on-slip and the northbound St James off-slip from Tuesday 20th May until Sunday 25th May 2025.

This work will be carried out under overnight closures of the A737 northbound carriageway between Linwood and the M8 flyover, the northbound on slip road at Linclive Interchange, the northbound off slip road to St James and the southbound on slip road at the M8 Junction 29 from St James, between 8pm and 6am each night between Tuesday 20th May and Saturday 24th May. There will also be a lane closure on the A761 onto Linclive Roundabout and the A726 St James Interchange.

Signed diversions will be in place. Northbound traffic will leave the A737 at Linclive Interchange, taking the third exit at the roundabout onto the A761 Linwood Road and following through Ferguslie, before continuing onto the A726 Mill Street and staying on the A726 to reach St James Interchange.

Southbound traffic for the M8 from St James will follow the A726 north to the M898 and head south to join the M8 westbound.

Traffic management will be removed by 6am on Sunday 25th May.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
