(UPDATE 9/4/25): Please be advised that scour repairs on the A701 at Mollinburn Bridge, south of Beattock, will now be completed under temporary traffic lights between the hours of 9am and 5pm each day.

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential scour repairs on the A701 at A701 80 Mollinburn Bridge, south of Beattock, from Monday 5th May until Friday 23rd May 2025 on a continuous 24-hour basis. This work will be carried out under temporary traffic lights at this location.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition and safety of the carriageway structure and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
