Viking Festival 2025 | Largs Esplanade

The Viking Festival returns to Largs from Saturday 30th August to Sunday 7th September. Start times vary throughout the event. More information can be found here.

Traffic is likely to be heavier than normal on the A78, A77 and local routes leading to and from Largs Esplanade. Motorists planning to use the CalMac ferry service on these dates are advised to plan ahead and prepare for delays.

Do consider active travel and public transport options. An hourly Scotrail service runs between Glasgow and Largs. Do check their website for the latest service information before travel.
