M90 Southbound Milnathort | Carriageway Patching

UPDATE (14/04/2026): SCHEME EXTENSION: Overnight carriageway patching on the M90 southbound at Milnathort.

Please be aware that there will be a further overnight road closure on Wednesday 15th April between 7.30pm and 6.30am in order to complete studding works.

The road closure will be in place between M90 southbound junction 9 and junction 6.

The following diversion route will be in place.

M90 southbound traffic can exit at Junction 9 at Bridge of Earn and continue to the A912 to Gateside. At Gateside traffic can turn right onto the A91 and continue on this route onto the B966 travelling into Milnathort. When reaching Milnathort traffic can take the first exit at the roundabout and follow the A922 (South Street) to Kinross. Continuing onto Kinross High Street, traffic can turn right onto Station Road and follow the route to M90 junction 6, where they can rejoin the M90 southbound.

Amey is undertaking overnight carriageway patching on the M90 southbound at Milnathort on Monday 13th April.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken under an overnight road closure between M90 southbound junction 9 and junction 6 from 7.30pm to 6.30am.

The following diversion route will be in place.

M90 southbound traffic can exit at Junction 9 at Bridge of Earn and continue to the A912 to Gateside. At Gateside traffic can turn right onto the A91 and continue on this route onto the B966 travelling into Milnathort. When reaching Milnathort traffic can take the first exit at the roundabout and follow the A922 (South Street) to Kinross. Continuing onto Kinross High Street, traffic can turn right onto Station Road and follow the route to M90 junction 6, where they can rejoin the M90 southbound.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
