M90 Southbound Junction 6-4 | Carriageway Patching Works
Amey is undertaking overnight carriageway patching at two separate locations on the M90 southbound in Perth and Kinross on Tuesday 31st March and Wednesday 1st April.
The work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will initially be undertaken between M90 southbound Junction 6 and Junction 4, followed by work at Junction 8 (from the A91).
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken under overnight road closures between 8pm and 5.30am as follows.
Tuesday 31st March: Overnight closure of the M90 southbound between Junction 6 and Junction 4.
Diversion Route
M90 southbound traffic can exit the M90 at Junction 6 for A922 Kinross/A977 Kincardine and turn left onto the A922 to travel into Kinross. Then can then take the first right onto Junction Road, taking the first left at the roundabout to stay on Junction Road. Traffic can continue on this route onto Clashburn Road and, on reaching its junction with High Street, turn right onto the B996 and continue on this route to its junction with the B9097, where traffic can rejoin the M90 southbound at Junction 5.
Wednesday 1st April: M90 southbound on-slip closure at junction 8 (from the A91) and a lane closure on the M90 southbound.
Diversion Route
Southbound traffic on the A91 can follow the route for the B996 to Milnathort. When reaching Milnathort traffic can take the first exit at the roundabout and follow the A922 to Kinross. They can then turn right onto Springfield Road (just before Kinross Rugby Club) and follow the route to its junction with Station Road, taking the third exit at the roundabout to travel towards M90 Junction 6 where they can rejoin the M90 southbound.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
