- Completion of the drainage works;

- Crossover improvements;

- Road safety barrier improvements.

The following traffic management arrangements will be in place from Friday 1st May.

Amey is carrying out overnight drainage improvements on the M90 near Balmanno Hill from Monday 2nd March to Friday 1st May.

The £390,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will improve drainage and safety on the M90 at the Dron bend, located approximately five kilometres north of Glenfarg.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential maintenance will be carried out under nighttime lane two restrictions on the M90 in both directions between 7.30pm and 6.30am.

The essential works will increase overall safety and reduce surface water on the carriageway for more than 26,000 motorists who use this route each day.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
