M90 Junction 2 | Carriageway Repairs

Masterton/Admiralty
1st of May 2026, 8:30pm to 2nd of May 2026, 6:00am

The southbound carriageway of the M90 will be closed for carriageway repairs between Junction 2, Masterton, and Junction 1C, Admiralty, from 20:30 until 06:00 on the night of Friday 1 May.

A signed diversion route will be in place via the A823(M) westbound to Pitreavie Roundabout, King’s Road, and the A985 Admiralty Road. This will add approximately 5 minutes and 2.1 miles to affected journeys.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Relevant stakeholders have been consulted in advance to make them aware of the plans.

Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “It’s necessary to close the southbound M90 at Junction 2 to allow us to carry out repairs to the carriageway.

“We’ll do this late at night to minimise disruption, however if you need to use this route during the works, please allow a few extra minutes for the diversion.”

All works are weather dependent and subject to postponement in the event of adverse conditions.
