M90 between Kinross and Kelty | Road Safety Improvements
Amey is undertaking road safety improvements on the M90 between Kinross and Kelty between junction 4 and 6 northbound and southbound from Monday 18th to Friday 29th August.
The £120,000 worth of improvements, which Amey is carrying out on behalf of Transport Scotland, includes re lining and stud renewals, improving line visibility for over 32,870 daily road users.
Work will take place overnight Monday to Fridays between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight road closures.
For diversions, traffic travelling northbound will be diverted off of the M90 at the B924 at Kelty following the B996 to Kinross, where traffic will turn off onto junction road leading to Station Road where traffic will have access back onto the M90 northbound via the A922 roundabout.
Traffic travelling southbound will divert off the M90 carriageway via the Kinross southbound off slip, taking the first exit at the A922 roundabout for station road, leading to junction road where traffic will then head via the B966 through Gairney Bank. Traffic will then have access back onto the M90 Via the B9097, junction 5, southbound on slip.
