M9 Junction 6 Northbound On-Slip | Road Marking Improvements
The northbound on-slip at M9 Junction 6 will be closed for road marking improvements from 19:30 until 06:00 on the night of Thursday 4 December.
A signed diversion route will be in place from M9 Junction 6, via Beancross Road (A905) to the M9 Junction 5 northbound on-slip. This diversion will add approximately 7 minutes and 3.5 miles to affected journeys.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South-East Network Manager, said: "It is essential for safety that we close the carriageway while road marking improvements take place.
“We’ve scheduled the works at night to minimise disruption, however we appreciate that this will cause delays for some people and thank the public in advance for their patience and understanding."
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Consultation has been carried out with emergency services and relevant stakeholders to share information about the project in advance.
