M9 Junction 10 | Carriageway Investigation Works
The slip road onto the M9 northbound at Junction 10, Craigforth, will be closed for carriageway investigation works from 19:30 until 06:00 on the nights of Monday 20 April and Tuesday 21 April. A lane closure will also be in place on the M9 northbound carriageway.
During these closures, a signed diversion route for traffic wishing to join the M9 northbound at Junction 10 will be in place via the M9 southbound to turn at M9 Junction 9 and return northbound. This will add an estimated 10 miles and 11 minutes to affected journeys.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Consultation has been carried out with emergency services and other relevant stakeholders to make them aware of the plans in advance.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “We thank road users for their patience while we carry out these essential carriageway investigations in advance of future resurfacing works.
“If you need to use this route on these nights, our advice is to plan ahead and allow some extra time for your journey.’’
