M876 Bonnybridge Southbound | Fencing Works
Trunk road operating company BEAR Scotland is to replace around 400 metres of boundary fence on the M876 south of Junction 1, adjacent to Drove Loan and Ure Crescent in Bonnybridge, in an investment by Transport Scotland worth £60,000.
Work will begin on Monday 31 August and continue for four weeks.
For the safety of workers and road users during these works, the hard shoulder on the southbound carriageway will be closed until works are completed.
To reduce the project’s environmental impact, all existing fencing materials will be recycled.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “These upgrades to the boundary fence along the M876 will improve safety for both road users and local communities.
“We’ll do all we can to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible and thank the public in advance for their patience and understanding.”
