M80 Robroyston Interchange | Deck Refurbishment Works

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential deck refurbishments on the Robroyston Interchange at Junction 2 of the M80 from Friday 23rd October until Sunday 15th November 2026 between the hours of 9pm each Friday and 6am each Sunday.
 

This work will require daytime lane closures as well as nighttime total closures. Working weekends are as follows:
 

Weekend 1 – Friday 23rd October to Sunday 25th October:
Friday 23rd October
Total closure from 2100 (Friday) to 0600 (Saturday)
 

Saturday 24th October
Northbound hard shoulder and single lane closure from 0600 to 2100 (traffic to run in lane 2)
Total closure from 2100 (Saturday) to 0600 (Sunday)
 

Sunday 25th October
Northbound hard shoulder and single lane closure from 0600 to 2100 (traffic to run in lane 2)
Total closure from 2100 (Sunday) to 0600 (Monday)
 

Weekend 2 – Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November

Total closure from 2100 (Friday) to 0600 (Saturday)
 

Saturday 31st October
Southbound hard shoulder and single lane closure from 0600 to 2100 (traffic to run in lane 2)
Total closure from 2100 (Saturday) to 0600 (Sunday)

Southbound hard shoulder and single lane closure from 0600 to 2100 (traffic to run in lane 2)
Total closure from 2100 (Sunday) to 0600 (Monday)

Southbound lane 1 and 2 closure from 0600 to 2100 (traffic to run in southbound hard shoulder)

Northbound lane 1 and 2 closure from 0600 to 2100 (traffic to run in hard shoulder)
Total closure from 2100 (Saturday) to 0600 (Sunday)
 

Sunday 15th November
Northbound lane 1 and 2 closure from 0600 to 2100 (traffic to run in hard shoulder)
Total closure from 2100 (Sunday) to 0600 (Monday)
 

Please note: Total closures listed above will restrict all vehicle access in both directions and the diversions below must be followed:
Northbound: traffic diverted off Junction 2 towards the roundabout on the B765, take exit 3 to return to the M80 northbound.
Southbound: traffic diverted off Junction 2 towards the roundabout on the B765, take exit 2 to return to the M80 southbound.
 

The works also require temporary traffic lights with a ‘Stop and Go’ arrangement on the B765 on the following dates:
10pm 7th November – 6am 8th November
10pm 14th November – 6am 15th November
 

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
 

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
 

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the road user safety and extending the service life of the structure.
