M80 Junction 1 and 2
12th of August 2026, 8:00pm to 14th of August 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the M80 northbound between Junctions 1 and 2 from Wednesday 12th August until Friday 14th August 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

This work will require overnight closures of the northbound carriageway in this location. Traffic will be diverted via Provan Road, the M8 Junction 13 on slip, the Junction 12 off slip, Cumbernauld Road, Provanmill Road, Royston Road, Robroyston Road and the M80 Junction 2 northbound on slip.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
