M80 Junctions 1-2 | Gantry Upgrades
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential gantry upgrades on the southbound M80 between Junctions 1 and 2 from Sunday 4th October until Friday 23rd October 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each Sunday to Thursday night. No works will take place on Friday or Saturday nights.
This work will require overnight lane closures each night of the works, as well as hard shoulder closures for the duration of the work.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the carriageway signage in this location.
