M80 Junction 1 & 2 | Gantry Upgrades
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential gantry upgrades on the M80 both northbound and southbound between Junctions 2 and 1 from Sunday 12th April until Wednesday 15th April 2026.
This work will require overnight hard shoulder and lane 1 closures of the northbound and southbound M80 between Junctions 2 and 1 each night between the hours of 8pm and 6am.
The Northbound junction 2 off slip will be closed overnight for the duration of the works. Northbound M80 traffic will continue on the M80 and exit at Junction 3. At the roundabout take the Glasgow M80 exit and follow the M80 until junction 2.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
