M8 Woodside | Junction 15 to 18 Westbound Closures
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential maintenance on the M8 Westbound between junction 15 and 18.
Works will take place from Sunday 25th January until Friday 13th February 2026, with overnight closures from 10pm until 6am.
This is to enable the next phase of works of the M8 Woodside Viaducts Junctions 16-17.
Signed diversion routes will be in operation.
Diversion
M8 westbound mainline junction 15 to junction 18 traffic, including traffic for junction 15 On-Slip from A803 southbound, will be taken off at junction 16 Dobbie’s Loan for Garscube Road onto West Graham Street. Traffic will then join junction 17 On-Slip for the M8 westbound.
A803 southbound traffic will continue to Castle Street for Cathedral Street onto North Hanover Street and onto Cowcaddens Road. Traffic will follow onto West Graham Street and use junction 17 On-Slip to rejoin the M8 westbound.
Access for emergency service vehicles will not be maintained throughout these works.
