Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential maintenance on the A81 Garscube Road and A804 Dobbie’s Loan.
Works will take place from Tuesday 10th June until Friday 13th June, with an overnight closure of Garscube Road and Dobbie’s Loan, from 11:59pm until 6am, each night.
This scheme is to enable the next phase of works of the M8 Woodside Viaducts Junctions 16-17.
Signed diversion routes will be in operation.
Local Diversions
Dobbie’s Loan traffic will be diverted via Possil Road onto Craighall Road or Port Dundas Road onto Cowcaddens Road.
Garscube Road traffic will be diverted via Hinshaw Street onto Maryhill Road following to Napiershall Street then onto Great Western Road for West Graham Street where the diversion will end.
Access for emergency service vehicles will not be maintained throughout these works.
Please Note: Closure timings have been co-ordinated with bus services using the route, to maintain the regular service.
Please plan your journey and allow extra time for travel through the signed diversion.
PLEASE NOTE: Vehicles entering the LEZ as part of the diversion must follow the diversion signage at all times. Any vehicles which deviate from the published diversion route may be issued with penalty charge notice(s) from Glasgow City Council should they be captured out with the agreed diversion route.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
