M8 Westbound Between Junctions 11 and 12 | Essential Patching
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the M8 westbound between Junctions 11 and 12 from 10pm on Friday 5th December until 6am on Saturday 6th December 2025 under a full overnight carriageway closure.
Traffic will be directed to exit the M8 westbound at the Junction 11 off slip and follow B765 Stepps Road, A8 Edinburgh Road, A8 Cumbernauld Road and re-join the M8 westbound at the Junction 12 on slip.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
