M8 Kingston Bridge Complex | Routine Surveys
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking routine investigations on the M8 Kingston Bridge Complex from Tuesday 14th April until Saturday 18th April 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.
On Tuesday 14th April, this work will require the overnight closure of Argyle Street westbound between Newton Street and North Street. Traffic will be directed to turn right on to North Street and follow St Vincent’s Street, Finnieston Street, Lancefield Quay, Anderston Quay and North Street, where this diversion will end.
On Friday 17th April, this work will require the overnight closure of the A804 North Street, as well as two right-turn lanes on Argyle Street. Traffic will be directed to continue to the westbound Clydeside Expressway and follow Finnieston Street, Boundary Row, Congress Way, Point House Road and the eastbound Clydeside Expressway, where this diversion will end.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
