M8 Kingston Bridge Complex | Removal Of Essential Investigations
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking demobilisation activities following the completion of essential half-joint investigations on the M8 Kingston Bridge Complex at Junction 20 (West Street) from Wednesday 7th January until Friday 9th January 2025.
This work will require overnight closures of the eastbound M8 Junction 20 West Street on-slip from Wednesday 7th January to Friday 9th January between the hours of 10pm and 6am. Out with these closures, traffic will not be impacted by this work.
Traffic will be directed to continue on West Street and follow Kingston Street, Commerce Street, King George V Bridge, Broomielaw and North Street. Additional journey time of up to 7 minutes anticipated.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
