Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is continuing essential drainage surveys below the M8 Kingston Bridge Complex from Sunday 25th October until mid-November between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night. During this time a weekly press release will be issued to update on the following weeks closures.

Lane two closure on M8 mainline from Junction 18 off slip to Junction 19 on slip (Sunday 25th October-Thursday 29th October): No diversion required.
This is the first phase of surveys in this location. Depending on findings from this phase revisits may be required. These will be added to the end of the current programme and details will be made available in due course.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structure’s drainage network.
