Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential overnight bridge expansion joint replacements and resurfacing works on the M8 slip roads at Junctions 23 and 24 at Paisley Road West, from Monday 20th May until Saturday 1st June 2024, between 8pm and 6am, weeknight only.

This work requires the local access road to be closed from Dumbreck Road to Helen Street, with a signed diversion in operation.

These works will be undertaken using overnight local authority road closures, with a signed diversion route in operation.

Westbound traffic on the Paisley Road West will be directed onto Dumbreck Road, and then to Mosspark Blvd, to re-join the Paisley Road West with the diversion ending at the roundabout at Helen Street.

Eastbound traffic will follow the same diversion in the opposite direction.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit road users by ensuring the continued safety and reliability of this structure and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
