M8 at Junction 16 | Essential Structural Investigations

M8 at Junction 16
9th of February 2026, 10:00pm to 15th of February 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential structural investigations on the M8 Junction 16 (Craighall Interchange) overbridge from Monday 9th February until Sunday 15th February 2026 between the hours of 10pm and 6am each night.

This work will be undertaken with single lane closures managed by four-way overnight temporary traffic lights on Craighall Road. This will have no additional impact on traffic using the M8 motorway.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway and structure in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
