M8 Junction 15 | Masonry Repairs

M8 Junction 15
2nd of February 2026, 10:00pm to 28th of March 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential masonry repairs on the M8 eastbound Junction 15 (Townhead) on slip from Castle Street from Monday 2nd February until Saturday 28th March 2026 between the hours of 10pm and 6am each night.

This work will require overnight closures of the on slip from Castle Street and traffic will be diverted via Castle Street and Glebe Street, where they will be able to join the M8 eastbound. Additionally, overnight single lane closures will be in place on the eastbound M8 carriageway.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structures in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
