M8 at Junction 15 | Essential Parapet Repairs
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential parapet repairs on the M8 at Junction 15 from Sunday 31st May until Sunday 28th June 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.
This work will require overnight total closure of the eastbound carriageway from Sunday 31st May to Sunday 14th June and lane closures westbound carriageways from Sunday 14th June to Sunday 28th June. The overnight closures will also include total closures of Junction 15 eastbound on slip (Castle Street) and the westbound off slip (Castle Street).
Eastbound traffic will be diverted via M8 J17, St Georges Road, Garscube Road, Dobbie’s Loan, Kyle Street, Baird Street, Castle Street and the eastbound Junction 15 on slip.
M8 J15 E/B on slip from Castle Street will be diverted via Castle Street, Glebe Street, Stirling Road, M8 J15 E/B on slip
M8 J15 W/B off slip traffic will be diverted via M8 J15 off slip, Springburn Road, St James Road, Castle Street.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structure.
