M8 Eastbound Kingston Bridge Complex | Patching Works
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the eastbound M8 between Junctions 22 and 19 at the Kingston Bridge Complex, from 8pm on Friday 17th July until 6am on Saturday 18th July 2026.
This work will require an overnight closure of the primary eastbound M8 carriageway. Traffic will be directed on to the secondary carriageway and diverted via the Junction 21 off slip, Seaward Street, Scotland Street, West Street, M8 Kingston Bridge, North Street and the Junction 19 (Anderston) on slip. Delays of approximately 5 minutes and 1.5 miles are expected.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structure.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
