M8 Eastbound Junction 15 Off Slip | Essential Resurfacing
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the M8 eastbound Junction 15 off slip to Springburn from Sunday 7th June until Thursday 11th June 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.
This work will require overnight closures of the off slip. Traffic will be directed to remain on the M8 eastbound and exit at Junction 14 to follow Viewpark Avenue, Royston Road, Baird Street and the A803 northbound on slip. This diversion represents additional distance of 1.8 miles and additional travel time of 5 minutes.
During this time, single lane closures managed by temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A803 off slip to Baird Street.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
