M77 Southbound at Junction 3 | Resurfacing
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the southbound M77 at the Junction 3 off slip (Darnley) from Monday 14th September until Saturday 19th September 2026 between the hours of 9pm and 6am each night.
This work will require the overnight closures of the southbound junction 3 off slip. During these closures, traffic will be directed to remain on the southbound M77 and exit at Junction 4 to follow Stewarton Road and Nitshill Road.
Between Monday 14th September and Thursday 17th September, overnight closures of the southbound M77 carriageway between Junctions 2 and 3, including the Junction 2 on slip, will be in operation between 10pm and 6am each night. Traffic will be directed to exit at Junction 2 and follow Barrhead Road, Boydstone Road, Kennishead Road and Nitshill Road to re-join the southbound M77 at Junction 3.
Single lane closures on the southbound M77 will be in operation throughout these works. All traffic management will be removed by 6am on Saturday 19th September.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
