M77 Junction 2 | Essential Patching Works
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the M77 southbound Junction 2 on-slip from 10pm on Tuesday 16th December until 6am on Wednesday 17th December 2025. This work will involve a single overnight closure of the Junction 2 on-slip and a single lane closure on the southbound M77 carriageway at Junction 2.
Traffic wishing to use the Junction 2 southbound on-slip will be diverted via Fairchild Avenue to join the M77 northbound, continue to the Junction 1 off-slip and follow Dumbreck Road to join the southbound M77 at Junction 1.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
