M74 Lesmahagow Eastwood Road | Barrier Replacements
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking an essential safety barrier replacement on the B7018 M74 northbound overbridge between Junctions 11 and 10, east of Lesmahagow, from Sunday 10th May until Saturday 30th May 2026.
This work will require total closures of the B7018 structure between Sunday 10th May and Saturday 23rd May. Northbound traffic will be diverted via the B7078 Carlisle Road, B7086 Lanark Road and the B7018 Dillaburn Road. Southbound traffic will take this diversion route in reverse.
Temporary traffic lights will then be in operation from Sunday 24th May until Saturday 30th May 2026.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety of the structure in this location.
