M74 Junction 9-11 | Essential Patching Works
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the M74 southbound between Junctions 9 and 11 from 8pm on Friday 19th December until 6am on Saturday 20th December 2025 under a single overnight closure.
Traffic will be directed to exit the M74 southbound at Junction 9 and follow the B7078 to the M74 Junction 12 on-slip, where this diversion will end.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
