M74 Junction 6 On And Off Slip | SP Energy Roadworks
Scottish Power Energy Network and service partners PMK will be carrying out essential upgrades to the 33kV network between Motherwell and Hamilton.
The works will begin on Monday 5th January at 20:00 and due to be completed on Monday 2nd March at 06:00.
Works affecting slip roads
16/01/2026 – 18/01/2026: Slip closure from 20:00-06:00 (2 Nights) M74 NB & SB Jct 6 Onslip from Motherwell.
30/01/2026-08/02/2026: Slip closure from 00:01-23:59 on the M74 Southbound Junction 6 slip off to Hamilton.
01/03/2025-02/03/2026: Slip closure from 20:00-06:00 (1 Night) on the M74 NB & SB Jct 6 onslip from Hamilton.
