M74 Junction 10 | Patching Works

Kirkmuirhill
18th of November 2026, 8:00pm to 20th of November 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the northbound M74 at Junction 10 (Kirkmuirhill) from Wednesday 18th November until Friday 20th November 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

This work will require overnight closures of the northbound M74 between Junctions 10 and 9. Traffic will be diverted via the northbound Junction 10 off slip, the B7078 Carlisle Road, Canderside Road and the Junction 8 on slip.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
