Irvine to Kilwinning bus route congestion reduction measures

North Ayrshire Council, in partnership with Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, are upgrading the A737 Dalry Road / Byres Road and A738 Townhead / Stevenston Road / Pennyburn Road / Kilwinning Railway Station signalised junctions. 

This is the final part of a wider scheme to upgrade traffic signals along the Irvine to Kilwinning A737 corridor that aims to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion.
  
The works will involve temporary traffic light control and are anticipated to be undertaken between early January to early March 2023.
