Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential vegetation clearance for the preparation of future construction works for footway and drainage improvements on the A737 at Dalgarven. These vegetation clearance works will be carried out on Thursday 29th February and Friday 1st March 2024, between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm, each day.

This scheme will benefit those using this route each day, by improving the pedestrian facilities and drainage infrastructure, reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future. The scheme will encourage more users to walk, and wheel for health, leisure and commuting purposes which aligns with the Scottish Government’s and Transport Scotland’s objectives to cut carbon emissions.

The work will be carried out using single lane closures with temporary traffic signals in place. We thank road users for their patience and cooperation while this essential work takes place.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, that all schemes are weather-dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
