Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking essential resurfacing on the M74 southbound off-slip road at Junction 11 from Thursday 23rd March until Monday 27th March 2023.

This scheme will benefit around 32,600 vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.

The work will be carried out using a full weekend closure of the Junction 11 southbound off-slip road and the nearside lane from 8pm on Thursday 23rd March until 6am on Monday 27th March 2023. A signed diversion will be in operation. We thank road users for their patience and co-operation while this essential work takes place.

Traffic intending to use the southbound Junction 11 off-slip road will be instructed to exit via the Junction 9 off-slip road and will continue on the B7078 until Junction 11. SB main line M74 Traffic will be unaffected.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
