A96 Eastbound At Blackburn | Woodland Management
Amey is undertaking overnight woodland management on the A96 eastbound between Clinterty Roundabout and Kinellar Roundabout at Blackburn from Monday 31st August to Wednesday 9th September.
The essential maintenance, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will involve woodland thinning, coppicing and vegetation clearance.
This work will improve safety on the A96 carriageway and forms part of the ongoing maintenance programme.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will be carried out between 7.30pm and 6.30am under overnight lane restrictions of lane one and the hard shoulder.
The works will improve safety for more than 23,000 motorists who use this route each day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
