A96 At Bin Forest North of Huntly | Surfacing Improvements
Amey is undertaking surfacing improvements on the A96 north of Huntly between Sunday 19th October and Monday 27th October.
The £374,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will deliver improvements on approximately 975 metres of the A96 trunk road near Bin Forest.
Work will take place from 526 metres south of the Bin Forest Walks junction to 449 metres north of the Bin Forest Walks junction.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight convoy between 7.30pm and 6.30am from Sunday 19th October to Wednesday 22nd October.
There will also be daytime traffic lights in place between 6.30am and 7.30pm from Monday 20th October to Wednesday 22nd October to allow for deeper areas of treatment to cool.
In addition there will also be a further convoy in place between 8am and 3.30pm on Monday 27th October to install road studs.
Please be aware that there may be delays of up to four minutes when the overnight convoy is in place.
The resurfacing will benefit more than 7,400 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
